In November of 1973, at the age of 31, Betty J. Eadie died following routine surgery. After undergoing what has been called “the most profound and detailed near-death experience ever recorded.” Betty J. Eadie, author of the international bestseller Embraced By The Light, had the most eminent, prominent and extensive near-death experience ever recorded.

 

Betty has written several books in an effort to share with others what she was shown in the spirit world about God and man’s existence, the meaning of life and what awaits all in the after life. Following the enormous success of Embraced By The Light, there was a tremendous level of awareness of Betty and her book, not only in North America but around the world, as it was translated into many languages and distributed globally.

Betty traveled the country making numerous television and personal appearances, including being on The Oprah Winfrey Show, where she was featured multiple times. Considered as one of the preeminent experts on near-death experiences, Betty was asked to join Kevin Costner in promoting his movie, Dragonfly, which was based on a life-after-death experience. The Artist Prince was so enamored by Embraced By The Light that he dedicated a song to Betty on his Gold album. He even offered to help with the music when the book was taken to film. Since his passing, his estate has offered a few of his songs for usage on the soundtrack of the film. Kim Kardashian, who is a huge supporter of Betty and Embraced By The Light, mentions them frequently in print and television interviews, and on her social media platforms. Betty and Embraced By The Light was featured on the Keeping Up With The Kardashian's television show.

This level of awareness still exists today, as Betty receives thousands of emails and messages yearly from people worldwide looking to overcome heartache and pain, the loss of a loved one, and for help in discovering their purpose in life.
